Job Overview

The Regional Banking and Lending Consultant is a critical role within the Banking & Lending organization at LPL Financial. Our goal is to be the best firm in Wealth Management by providing top-notch banking and lending solutions that help advisors serve their clients' needs more comprehensively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as SCA, margin, and banking solutions expert and drive awareness among Advisors and the Advisor-facing LPL teams that support them.
  • Educate Advisors on how to integrate banking and lending capabilities into their practices to better meet clients’ financial needs and expand their businesses.
  • Develop and disseminate best practices and sales enablement tools that help Advisors identify clients’ banking and lending needs and the optimal solutions to meet them.
  • Attend recruited Advisor HOVs and LPL conferences to market banking and lending solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Advisor Transitions team to provide white-glove service to newly recruited Advisors and help them transition their clients’ loans to LPL.
  • Collaborate with Advisors and their clients to develop tailored solutions for complex banking and lending needs.
  • Serve as the voice of the Advisor and provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement to the Product Manager, Lending Solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Series 7 License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • 10+ years of experience within financial services with strong knowledge of banking and lending products including securities-backed lending and margin.
  • Proven experience driving adoption of banking and lending products in an Advisor-led wealth management organization.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and Advisors.
  • Adept at influencing colleagues and Advisors to embrace new ideas and methods.

  • Skilled at tailoring messages to diverse Advisor audiences with different business models.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to LPL’s sites and to visit key partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.

Pay Range

$120,304.00 - $200,438.00
