About the role
Lead the State Filings and Product Governance teams, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to oversee the formatting, rule implementation, filing, documentation, tracking, research, and record management of all forms.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance on processes related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of forms.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all product logs, libraries, and documentation repositories.
- Serve as a key liaison across Compliance, Operations, Product Development, and Actuarial teams to facilitate the seamless implementation of processes on behalf of the Product Development function.
- Partner with the Head of Product to develop and execute initiatives that effectively communicate regulatory changes to Underwriting and IT teams.
- Identify, assess, and address compliance issues related to state regulatory requirements and the organization’s implementation of forms and rules.
- Collaborate with Compliance to evaluate and manage the impact of regulatory bulletins and circulars on day-to-day operations.
- Design and implement efficient workflows to ensure work is appropriately assigned and executed by the right resources.
- Respond to regulatory objections, including conducting research on competitor filings and prior submissions, maintaining strong relationships with regulators, and developing solutions to address state feedback and concerns.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO and Commercial Lines Property & Casualty coverage.
- Professional Lines coverage, forms, rates, and rules.
- Expertise in state filings, including the rates, rules, forms, and answering objections.
- Experience in targeted competitor searches and analysis.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and energetic style are essential.
- Proactive thinker and performer, with the ability to work independently.
- Desire to learn and gain exposure to new areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of State Filings/Product Governance experience. Underwriting, Compliance or IT experience desirable.
- Management/Leadership experience.
- BA/BS required.

Benefits
- Salary range specific to for this role: $207,000-$275,000 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
