VP, Procurement & Vendor Management

About the role

We are seeking a VP Procurement & Vendor Management to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Assess current procurement and vendor management processes
• Define and implement a multi-year procurement strategy
• Establish category management and spend control frameworks
• Own vendor strategy and lead negotiations
• Design procurement workflows and processes
• Manage travel and expense strategies and policies
• Create visibility into company-wide expenditures

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management
• Proven track record of achieving cost savings and executing vendor strategies
• Experience in building procurement functions from the ground up
• Familiarity with organizations operating in the $200M–$1B+ revenue range
• Global vendor management experience

Pay

$200,000 – $225,000 annually
