VP Operations

For our client, we are seeking a VP Operations to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This leader will oversee the operating model for a highly customized manufacturing environment, with a focus on consistency, accountability, and measurable performance. The role will drive alignment across engineering, supply chain, and operations to improve delivery, quality, and cost outcomes. This leader will also help establish the discipline needed to support integration of new product lines or acquisitions while maintaining predictable execution. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $206,250 – $343,750 annually Responsibilities Establish and lead a KPI-driven operating system with real-time dashboards Improve key performance metrics such as on-time delivery and build cycle time Implement structured daily and weekly operating rhythms with accountability Identify and close performance gaps in low- to mid-volume production Drive root cause problem-solving for delivery, quality, and cost issues Align engineering, supply chain, and operations around shared KPIs Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred 12-15+ years of leadership experience in specialty vehicle manufacturing Proven track record of improving cost, quality, and delivery metrics Experience in highly customized, compliance-driven production environments Strong background in KPI systems and performance management Working knowledge of engineering and supply chain processes Benefits Competitive benefits package Pay for performance philosophy allowing top performers to earn more Opportunities for professional growth and development Support for integration of new product lines or acquisitions Foundation for repeatable, predictable execution in a high-customization environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
