VP of Tax

Location: New York, NY – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the company's overall tax strategy aligned with business objectives
• Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the organization
• Oversee all aspects of global tax compliance and reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and disclosures
• Serve as the primary executive interface with tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions
• Lead and manage large, complex tax audits and disputes
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing tax team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA or advanced tax certification strongly preferred
• 20+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership roles
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale tax audits and managing tax controversies with global authorities
• Deep expertise in corporate tax, international tax, and transfer pricing
• Experience in a multinational organization or public company environment

Pay

$270,000 – $325,000 annually
