About the role
The Operations Technician I, Wax position at the Oregon City, OR site of Tecomet and Orchid is responsible for setting up dies and wax injection moldings for products and performing wax assembly processes.
Responsibilities
- Completes all required training.
- Uses hand truck, pallet jack, carts and tables to safely transport product.
- Maintains work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
- Detects and reports faulty equipment, defective material and any unusual conditions to the department Supervisor or Lead.
- Follows designated safety rules and regulations.
- Supports Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
- Dimensionally inspects work using appropriate tools.
- Performs weekly housekeeping per 5S schedule.
- Reports issues/concerns to Supervisor.
- Supports quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures, work instructions, and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Qualifications
- No previous work experience required (Preferred)
- Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
- High School Or Equivalent (Preferred)
