About the role

Reporting to the SVP of Sales, the VP of Sales; OEM will be responsible for leading sales and customer solutions for the OEM Division. This position will be accountable for creating and executing the strategic business plan for the OEM channel. In addition, the VP of Sales; OEM will be responsible for integrating the sales teams of newly acquired OEM businesses. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record for driving results, collaborating cross-functionally, and must be able to embrace, support, and drive a common culture across the sales organization. Although it's preferred this position would sit in Charlotte, NC, it does have the ability to be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the BDM team to achieve revenue and profitability goals along with broader growth objectives for our OEM division
  • Support the SVP of Sales by collaborating on an annual plan, goals/objectives, and identifying opportunities for growth through product and/or industry expansion
  • Identify key market segments/industries for focused growth initiatives, while working with marketing to support proper messaging and collateral requirements
  • Recruit, hire and develop sales associates to meet and exceed sales goals and KPIs
  • Partner with the MRO Sales leader to execute a sales strategy that will grow the topline, improve/maintain margins, and gain market share
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure on-time delivery for OEM customer needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, strategic customers
  • Represent the company and its solutions at industry trade shows

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of industrial sales experience
  • 3+ years of industrial sales team management experience
  • Exceptional track record of building world-class teams that consistently overachieve their numbers
  • Demonstrated sales leadership in a dynamic, frequently changing and geographically dispersed environment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and an active/valid driver's license
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills; specifically Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bearings and power transmission industry experience
  • Experience working with a CRM
