VP of Operations

CFM Materials LP is a joint venture of GE and Safran Aircraft Engines and the world's largest provider of used serviceable material and engines for the CFM product lines. We support companies worldwide through warehouses and sales offices near DFW Airport (TX, USA), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cardiff (Wales), Hamburg (Germany), and Singapore. In addition to its core operation, the company sells surplus inventories for CFM International and provides inventory for its parent companies' MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) network around the world.

About the role

Reports directly to the CEO of CFM Materials. Leads processes that meet business needs across the organization, manages issues within their functional area of expertise, and contributes to the overall business strategy. Responsible for driving operational excellence, technical performance, and quality standards across the organization. Bridges strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

• Leads a staff of manager-level leaders and multiple indirect reports across multiple global facilities.
• Responsible for leading the logistics processes to ensure both inbound and outbound shipments are performed compliantly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
• Serves as a source of operations, technical, and quality expertise regarding the verification of paperwork, aircraft engine component inspection, and logistics processes in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Inspires, motivates, and empowers people to deliver organizational goals while also delivering value back to employees.
• Builds, trains, and develops high-performing teams.
• Drives the development of analytical tools and reports to effectively manage company performance KPIs across the organization as they relate to overall business goals.
• Manages and ensures all global warehouses follow CFM Materials standardized processes.
• Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement plans based on CFM Materials' goals, objectives, and KPIs.
• Promotes a strong safety culture throughout the organization by championing the internal safety team.
• Responsible for overall compliance with FAA, ASA-100, AC 00-56, ISO 9001, and company quality requirements.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Aviation or Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in aviation, aerospace, MRO, aftermarket parts distribution, or a related industry.

• Well-organized, critical thinking, and ability to analyze technical data and make technical decisions.
• Experience working with jet engine technical documents and records.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ASA-100 standards and general quality methods and tools.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.

Travel

May require 10-15% travel.
