VP of Marketing Communications

About the Role
We are seeking a VP of Marketing Communications to own integrated communications, PR, executive communications, and internal communications. You will lead media relations and thought leadership, protect and build reputation, and drive communications that align and engage the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated marketing communications and PR strategy.
- Lead media relations, press strategy, and thought leadership.
- Manage executive visibility, speaking, and executive communications.
- Drive internal communications that align and engage the workforce.
- Own reputation management and crisis-communications readiness.
- Build and lead the communications function (in-house and agency).
Requirements
- 10+ years in communications / PR, with 4+ years in leadership.
- Strong media network and PR track record.
- Experience as a trusted communications advisor to executives.
- Crisis-communications experience.
- Exceptional writing and messaging skills.
- Experience leading communications teams and agencies.
- Bachelor's in communications, journalism, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- PR relationships in the client's markets.
- Experience communicating IPO, M&A, or other corporate milestones.
- Deep internal- / change-communications experience.
- Global communications experience.
Pay
The base salary range for this role is $450,000 to $550,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
