VP of Marketing Communications

About the role

We are seeking a VP of Marketing Communications to own integrated communications, PR, executive communications, and internal communications. You will lead media relations and thought leadership, protect and build reputation, and drive communications that align and engage the workforce.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated marketing communications and PR strategy.
• Lead media relations, press strategy, and thought leadership.
• Manage executive visibility, speaking, and executive communications.
• Drive internal communications that align and engage the workforce.
• Own reputation management and crisis-communications readiness.
• Build and lead the communications function (in-house and agency).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in communications / PR, with 4+ years in leadership.
• Media Relations: Strong media network and PR track record.
• Executive Comms: Experience as a trusted communications advisor to executives.
• Crisis: Crisis-communications experience.
• Writing: Exceptional writing and messaging skills.
• Team Building: Experience leading communications teams and agencies.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's in communications, journalism, or related.
