VP of Brand
About the role
Grüns is seeking a VP, Brand to oversee the entire collaboration engine that ties together our partnerships, events, and campaigns into a unified world. This role aims to transform our partnership strategy from aspirational to groundbreaking—establishing a repeatable system where every partnership, product drop, and cultural moment is fully realized.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product collaboration engine across Grüns and portfolio brands, from partner sourcing and deal structure through creative, event, and campaign execution, coordinating closely with our external collaboration agency, product development, and creative teams.
- Lead events strategy and production, creating a repeatable process where each event aligns with its collaboration’s narrative, rather than being a standalone activation.
- Drive business development as a measurable acquisition channel: explore new partnership categories and streamline the pipeline.
- Develop and execute integrated brand campaigns that seamlessly connect e-commerce, paid media, social media, public relations, and affiliate marketing, ensuring the work is done, not just directed.
- Stay attuned to the cultural conversation, identifying where the brand fits, moving quickly to integrate it, and ensuring every partnership feels like world-building.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in brand, partnerships, and/or experiential roles, with substantial in-house time at a consumer, CPG, or DTC brand.
- Experience owning brand collaborations end-to-end, from sourcing and deal-making through creative and launch, not just managing the agency that handles it.
- Hands-on events and experiential production experience, including successfully executing projects within tight timelines and budgets.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external agencies.
- Fluency in interpreting performance data, comfortable with key metrics such as nCAC, first order conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS), treating partnerships as an acquisition engine rather than just brand equity.

You are a genuine tastemaker, online and aware of what’s culturally relevant, knowing what resonates with Grüns. You move quickly but maintain quality, handling high volumes and adapting to challenges scrappily but effectively.
You are commercially minded, concerned about the actual conversion and impact of partnerships, not just their visual appeal.

Compensation & Benefits
At Grüns, we offer a competitive total compensation package, grounded in market data that reflects our size, stage, industry, and location. The base salary range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
