VP, National Accounts
About the role
This position will provide national client advisory and consultative services for all health and welfare plans and services. The responsibilities include monthly and quarterly reporting, strategic analysis, compliance and legislative guidance, contract and performance standards review, HR procedures assistance, communication and accountability internally and externally, and overall client retention and service.
Responsibilities
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting and guidance
- Conduct quarterly analysis with recommendations
- Offer strategic planning and oversight
- Liaise with vendors for clients regarding all service, billing, and eligibility issues with carriers
- Maintain checklists and renewal timelines for assigned clients
- Review and ensure compliance with carrier contracts, policies, and differentiators
- Delegate tasks and follow up with senior team members
- Support contract review and compliance
- Implement and comply with marketing spreadsheet terms
- Proactively provide customer service and HR support
- Coordinate communication and education initiatives with team members
- Maintain files and databases
- Aid in the onboarding process for new business cases and lines
Requirements
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong client development and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Client Management experience in Employee Benefits
- Self-funded Plans experience required
- Coverage of carve out pharmacy, core benefits, voluntary benefits, ancillary benefits, and enrollment/eligibility systems options for clients
- Bachelor's Degree required, Post-graduate degree preferred
- Resident State Life and Health Department of Insurance License

The base salary range for this position is $113,000 – $201,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
