VP, National Accounts
About the role
This position will provide national client advisory and consultative services for all health and welfare plans and services. Responsibilities include monthly and quarterly reporting, strategic analysis, compliance and legislative guidance, contract and performance standards review, HR procedures assistance, communication and accountability internally and externally, and overall client retention and service.
Responsibilities
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting and guidance
- Conduct quarterly analysis with recommendations
- Offer strategic planning and oversight
- Communicate and coordinate with external vendors
- Liaise with carriers for vendor issues
- Maintain checklists and renewal timelines for clients
- Review and ensure compliance with carrier contracts
- Support marketing spreadsheet implementation and documentation
- Ensure proactive customer service and HR support
- Coordinate communication and education initiatives
- Assist with onboarding processes for new business cases
- Support implementation and compliance with team members
Requirements
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong client development and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Self-funded Plans experience required
- Bachelor's degree required, post-graduate degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Resident State Life and Health Department of Insurance License

- 8+ years of Client Management experience in Employee Benefits
- Coverage of: carve out pharmacy, core benefits, voluntary benefits, ancillary benefits, and enrollment/eligibility systems options for clients

- Teaching, training, and guiding supporting staff

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $113,000 – $201,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Schedule
This is a full-time exempt position. The select candidate must be able to work from the Charlotte, NC office. We are open to relocation within a reasonable time and at own cost.
