VP, Merchandising & Brand Management

For our client, we are seeking a VP, Merchandising & Brand Management to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This leader will own merchandising strategy across the portfolio, with a focus on assortment, pricing, and margin performance in a considered-purchase consumer category. The role will also help shape the physical product pipeline, guiding launches and category extensions while strengthening brand and catalog execution. In addition, this leader will establish the operating cadence for the merchandising function and partner closely with Finance, Data, and other cross-functional teams on planning and capital decisions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $180,000 – $225,000 annually Responsibilities Build and lead the merchandising function, establishing operating cadence and decision rights Own portfolio merchandising and margin, setting assortment and pricing strategies Drive the physical product pipeline, managing launches and category extensions Implement data-driven merchandising practices, partnering with Data for analytics Lead cross-functional collaboration, representing merchandising in planning and capital decisions Qualifications 12+ years in ecommerce/DTC merchandising or category management, with 5+ years in leadership roles Experience in home, furniture, sleep, or adjacent considered-purchase categories Proven track record in building or scaling merchandising functions Strong fluency in merchandising analytics, including SKU economics and pricing measurement Demonstrated P&L or margin ownership, with experience partnering with Finance Experience managing product content and catalog operations at scale Benefits Health, Vision & Dental Insurance 401K Generous Paid Time Off plus company holidays Wellness benefits Generous Communications Allowance Product discount and company swag Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
