VP, Managing Director, Integrated Investment
About the role
The VP, Integrated Investment is an expert in digital marketing and buying across all digital channels and is a thought leader on emerging practices. They should be highly visible and a representation (both internally and externally) of the best HMI has to offer, providing agency POVs and providing clients with thought leadership on the latest, most relevant topics.
Responsibilities
Maintain a positive and efficient relationship with clients, internal agency contacts, and external agency partners
A thorough understanding of the integrated media landscape; linear, video, audio, social, SEM, SEO, mobile, programmatic, connected TV, gaming, augmented reality, Affiliate, Influencer, and Analytics
Manage multiple accounts/teams
Strong skills as a manager with the ability to mentor, coach, and support
Encourage an environment of collaboration and entrepreneurship
Guide clients and internal teams in education of evolving concepts and integrated executions within the industry, acting as a trusted and sought out resource for clients and agency team members
Optimize resource management
Track and ensure ALL client savings goals are achieved
Advocate for HMI initiatives/resources i.e. Analytics team, HX, Where/Why teams, etc.
Lead departmental projects, which include but are not limited to: agency deals, POVs, process creation, etc.
Support fellow HMI digital leadership by sharing knowledge i.e. case studies, process, etc.
Lead submission for awards
Actively involved in written RFI responses and case studies
Lead/participate in new business pitches
Requirements
A strong writer, presenter and communicator, who can communicate complex ideas with ease
A strong team leader with people management skills
A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively to bring ideas to completion
A calculated risk taker with the foresight to understand implications
Innately curious, with a hunger for proactive and creative problem solving

Qualifications
10+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects, acting as a client contact
A clear understanding of building brands and driving acquisition, and how they connect
Extensive experience leading direct client interaction and relationships
Previous experience working in a cross-functional capacity, liaising with Account Management leadership
Experienced buyer of linear television and CTV
Well-versed in today’s privacy landscape, including the use of established and emerging cookieless solutions to reach consumers
Knowledgeable in DMP/CDPs; experience working with agency data platforms
Expert in negotiating and constructing digital media plans, with understanding of planning, buying and activation
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas
Strong experience and principles navigating cross-department relationships
Leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, including strategic and people management skills
