About the Role

This leadership position requires 7+ years of management experience, overseeing large teams of media professionals across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will confidently engage with senior leaders to align client, agency, and business needs while ensuring adherence to agency processes for workflow and expectation management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of media professionals, defining and executing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and maintain vendor contracts and commitment levels across agency and client portfolios.
  • Drive innovation by bringing creative ideas that solve problems and align with business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance individual and organizational performance, remaining solution-oriented in challenging situations.
  • Develop strategic, realistic goals for short- and long-term organizational growth and success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and their potential impact on the organization, leveraging market position for competitive advantage.
  • Demonstrate self-awareness, managing emotions and maintaining productivity under pressure.
  • Plan, organize, and align resources to meet objectives within established timelines, adapting to unanticipated events effectively.
  • Manage multiple demands and competing priorities efficiently.
  • Make well-analyzed, timely decisions based on facts, available resources, and organizational goals.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and professional presentations both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of media buying experience with a strong understanding of the media marketplace, including rates, digital buying models, negotiation, programmatic, social, video, content development, content syndication, and contract execution.
  • Proficiency in media terminology, media math, and reach/frequency calculations.
  • Expertise in tools such as Comscore, DFA, Adviews, and eMarketer.
  • Deep knowledge of client/agency finance processes, including client billing and employee hours/pacing against business scope.
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead teams effectively.

Schedule

Omnicom requires employees to work in the office a minimum of three days per week, with potential for additional in-office days as directed by management. Some teams may already require five days of in-office attendance.
