Overview

The Vice President of Technology Transformation is a strategic executive responsible for leading enterprise impacting modernization initiatives that align technology capabilities with evolving business needs.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Execute a comprehensive technology transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, identifying opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with peers to foster a “one-team” dynamic within the Technology organization.

  • Champion the use of data, analytics, digital tools, AI, machine learning and other tools to drive customer engagement, automation, and predictive insights.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand company goals and translate them into achievable deliverables.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that address business pain points and unlock value.

  • Ensure technology investments deliver measurable outcomes and ROI.

  • Foster accountability for the “Sanctity of Production” to provide uninterrupted customer experiences on Vestis’ technology solutions.

  • Expand and modernize company’s Salesforce implementation, including architecture, integration, and optimization.

  • Evaluate current platform use, partner with key stakeholders to identify unmet needs, build roadmap to deliver future state, and ensure resulting Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with effective business processes.

  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to define and build analytics and dashboards that drive the company’s future.

  • Engage with external experts to stay updated on emerging trends and their applicability for Vestis.

  • Identify and implement machine learning use cases that enhance decision-making, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

  • Incorporate KPIs that demonstrate the ROI/value of these ML implementations.

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams across technology, encouraging team members to embrace the transformation discipline.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning along with an operational mindset; encourage innovation while ensuring that the business continues to run smoothly.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Experience/Qualifications

  • 20+ years of technology experience across application development, data integration, enterprise platforms, infrastructure, digital enablement, technical support and delivery.

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in technology transformation and complex technology solution delivery.

  • Experience delivering effective implementations of Salesforce across complex organizations.

  • Proven success with DML (deep machine learning) technologies, their business applications, and relevant process optimization outcomes.

  • Strong ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, APIs and other data integration architectures, and agile delivery models.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
