VP General Accounting
About the Role
The Vice President General Accounting is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining financial analytics and reporting to support the Companies’ financial products and determine the impact on Corporate Accounting. This role involves performing time-sensitive duties with accountability and flexibility, utilizing strategic and critical thinking, and demonstrating organizational and prioritization skills to accomplish goals.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial products and report on the impact of new business lines and products to Corporate Accounting.
- Coordinate with unit managers regarding their variance analysis and summarize into monthly senior management reporting.
- Facilitate integration of new business lines and products into departmental operations, including preparation of complex general ledger entries and process flow documentation.
- Perform analysis and reporting to support ad hoc management and compliance requests.
- Identify opportunities for accounting process efficiencies, including technology solutions.
- Support preparation of SEC and regulatory financial reporting packages and statements for parent and subsidiary.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong to advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas and pivot tables).
- Proficient with Visio and PowerPoint.
MS SQL skills and Public Accounting experience are beneficial but not required.

Pay
Salary range: $95,000 - $155,000. Individual salary may vary based on role, geographic location, market data, skills, and experience. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives.
