VP, Fund Finance and Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President of Fund Finance and Strategy to lead a newly created role within our Policy and Strategy department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Public Accounting or Asset Management, an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership abilities, and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex fund transactions and accounting treatment.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Research and implement new accounting standards.
• Review financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Maintain SOX controls and support audit activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 5-10 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 946 and ASC 820.
• Experience with technical accounting research and policy development.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
