Purpose Of Job As the VP, Financial Reporting at Route 92 Medical, Inc., you will report directly to the CFO and be a key member of our growing Accounting and Finance organization. The VP, Financial Reporting will lead the preparation, analysis, and filing of the Company’s financial statements and SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, proxy statements, and other required disclosures. The VP will also be responsible for the company’s equity compensation program and tax planning, including in international markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, deep knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, and the leadership, organizational, and communication skills necessary to manage a complex and evolving financial reporting environment. Responsibilities Lead the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, proxy statements, and earnings releases. Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of external financial reporting and disclosures. Partner with the CFO, Controller, Audit Committee, external auditors, Legal, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders on financial reporting and disclosure matters. Lead the analysis and resolution of complex accounting and reporting matters, including EPS, segment reporting, stock-based compensation, and other significant transactions. Maintain current knowledge of SEC and U.S. GAAP requirements and lead the implementation of relevant accounting and reporting changes. Drive improvements to financial reporting processes, internal controls, automation, and scalability. Lead financial reporting technology initiatives, including systems such as Workiva. Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting processes and support other strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives. Lead, develop, and mentor the financial reporting team. Skills For Success Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and U.S. GAAP, with excellent technical accounting, research, and analytical skills. Executive presence and the ability to communicate complex financial reporting matters effectively to senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong leadership, project management, and process improvement capabilities. Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, complex reporting requirements, and tight deadlines. Proactive problem solver with sound judgment and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA Required Experience 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting, including significant experience with SEC reporting and/or SEC reporting readiness. Demonstrated experience with U.S. GAAP and complex technical accounting and financial reporting matters. Experience partnering with external auditors and senior leadership on financial reporting, accounting, and disclosure matters.
