VP, Financial Reporting

About the role

The VP, Financial Reporting will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting for a key asset class within the organization. This team is centralized in Chicago and will offer significant headroom and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

- Lead the financial reporting function for a key asset class. - Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with public company clients. - Professionalize and scale the financial reporting function for a growing business.

Requirements

- 7-10 years of Big 4 public accounting audit experience, with public company clients. - Strong understanding of financial services, investment, asset management, and real estate clients. - Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - CPA certification preferred but not required. - Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

Skills

- Proficient in financial reporting software and tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent attention to detail.
