About the role

The VP, Financial Consultant leads the financial guidance and wealth management services provided to clients. This role involves building strong client relationships, managing client assets, and guiding clients through various financial planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Procure existing Schwab clients for wealth management and financial planning advice.
• Grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.
• Provide comprehensive financial guidance and advice to clients, including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
• Adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve.
• Leverage Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, and your expertise to inspire action and help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Engage in community activities to share market insights and sound investing principles with clients.

Requirements

• A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license is required.
• You must obtain or acquire a FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance licenses as they will be required during your tenure on the job.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively and exceed client expectations.
• Openness to managing wealth on behalf of clients.
• Passion for community engagement and sharing market insights.
