About the role
As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be procured with the practice of existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients - this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients
- Grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals
- Offer comprehensive financial guidance to clients
- Adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
- Engage and encourage trust with clients through strong relationships and a focused client communication strategy
- Manage wealth on behalf of clients including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
Requirements
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license during your tenure on the job is required
- Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen the client relationship by applying a focused client communication strategy, and exceeding client expectations
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of our clients including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
- Ability to adapt and implement change as the market and business conditions evolve
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong candidates will leverage Schwab’s team of specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, their knowledge of the markets, and their ability to inspire action to help clients achieve their goals
- Passion for community engagement to share and engage clients in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situations
- Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience in addition to furthering their own professional development in Wealth Management
