About the role

The role of Financial Consultant at Schwab is pivotal in guiding clients towards achieving their financial goals. This position requires a strong foundation in financial planning and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial planning and wealth management advice to existing Schwab clients.
  • Grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and client referrals.
  • Adapt and implement changes as the market and business conditions evolve.
  • Engage in community engagement activities to educate clients on market conditions and sound investing principles.

Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license is required.
  • Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance licenses during your tenure on the job.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain trust with clients.
  • Ability to manage wealth on behalf of clients across various areas including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
  • Passion for community engagement and sharing knowledge with clients.

Qualifications

  • Preferred qualifications include the ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and exceed client expectations.
  • Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience and further professional development in Wealth Management.
