As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will manage existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide wealth management and financial planning advice to clients.
  • Grow your client practice through asset consolidation, networking, and referrals.
  • Leverage Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, and market knowledge to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Manage wealth on behalf of clients, including:
    • Retirement Planning
    • Education Planning
    • Investment Management
    • Banking & Lending Management
    • Insurance & Risk Management
    • Estate Planning
  • Adapt to changing market and business conditions.
  • Engage in community discussions about market conditions, investing principles, and long-term strategies.
  • Deliver an outstanding investor experience while advancing your professional development in Wealth Management.
  • Register with the NMLS registry system and comply with SAFE Act requirements for residential loan mortgage originations.

Requirements

  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license (required).
  • Obtain or acquire FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance during your tenure.

  • Openness to managing wealth and providing comprehensive financial planning.
