About the role
The Financial Consultant at Schwab is responsible for providing wealth management and financial planning advice to existing Schwab clients. The role involves client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. Candidates should possess a valid and active FINRA Series 7 license and be open to managing various aspects of wealth including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial guidance and advice to existing Schwab clients
- Grow the practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals
- Manage wealth on behalf of clients including retirement planning, education planning, investment management, banking & lending management, insurance & risk management, and estate planning
- Adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
- Engage and encourage trust with clients, inspiring action to help them achieve their financial goals
Requirements
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required
- Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license during tenure on the job

- Ability to build strong relationships and exceed client expectations
- Leverage Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and ability to inspire action
