Responsibilities

• Provide analytical skills for the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting, reporting activities and audits for Wintrust Financial Corporation
• Record and review general ledger activity, ensuring adherence to established policies and internal financial controls
• Oversee integration results to the general ledger for accounting accuracy and lead automation of current manual processes
• Accountable for maintaining and overseeing the control of accounts and records in areas such as leasing, accruals and intercompany transactions
• Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and interface with key internal customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of Financial Institutional Accounting and/or Finance experience
• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance major preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel, experience with Workday a plus

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
