Responsibilities
- Provide analytical skills for the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting, reporting activities and audits for Wintrust Financial Corporation
- Record and review general ledger activity, ensuring adherence to established policies and internal financial controls
- Oversee integration results to the general ledger for accounting accuracy and lead automation of current manual processes
- Accountable for maintaining and overseeing the control of accounts and records in areas such as leasing, accruals and intercompany transactions
- Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and interface with key internal customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams
Requirements
- 10+ years of Financial Institutional Accounting and/or Finance experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance major preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel, experience with Workday a plus

Pay
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000 - $132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
