VP Finance/Controller

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP Finance/Controller to join our team in the Distribution industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the Distribution or Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Bill of Materials, Manufacturing, Cost, and Physical Inventory.
• Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
• An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
