VP, Engineering

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Staffing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an NYC-based engineering team and manage distributed collaborators
• Define and drive the engineering vision and strategy with executive leadership
• Architect a technical roadmap for a high-scale web and mobile platform
• Champion the integration of AI and ML systems into user-facing experiences
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven track record in scaling engineering organizations for consumer web/mobile products
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML products, particularly Generative AI
• Strong background in high-growth environments emphasizing speed and iteration
• Deep understanding of modern web architectures and cloud infrastructures

Pay

$275,000 – $350,000 annually
