Job Description
The VP of Employee Experience (HR) Technology is responsible for shaping the future of how work gets done at Mountain America Credit Union by defining and advancing an enterprise HR technology and AI vision that elevates the employee experience and positions the organization for long-term innovation.
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this leader leads and develops a strategic, forward-thinking HR technology team, partnering across data, operations, and the business to align priorities and deliver integrated, scalable solutions that advance the digital employee experience. The role blends strategy, innovation, and product leadership to ensure HR technology is not only effective today but leading into the evolving future of work.
- Own and advance HR’s technology and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, governance standards, and risk management expectations.
- Shape and lead AI governance for HR, including ethical use, data security, compliance, approval processes, and ongoing oversight.
- Architect a cohesive digital employee experience across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring solutions are intuitive, scalable, and effective.
- Develop, evolve and maintain an integrated HR technology/AI roadmap prioritizing initiatives based on business value, employee experience, and operational impact.
- Lead and manage the HR product management and system analyst team(s), setting clear priorities, expectations, and performance outcomes.
- Develop and coach well-trained, motivated, and professional staff while establishing credibility as an effective and responsive technology partner.
- Define, implement, and drive best practices for product management and systems analysis, ensuring consistent standards, methodologies, and high-quality execution across the team.
- Drive enterprise integration and orchestration across HR Technology, partnering with data, operations, technology, and process owners to ensure intuitive end-to-end experiences.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to HR leadership on technology capabilities, emerging trends, and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate the current landscape and recommend and apply best practices related to processes, workflows, tools, and internal and external resource alignment to increase consistency and reliability.
- Oversee vendor relationships, system performance, and lifecycle management to ensure reliability, value, and alignment with business needs.
- Ensure consistent execution, change management, and adoption of HR technology solutions.
- Ensure HR technology/AI initiatives support strong employee experiences while enabling leaders and team members to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Monitor outcomes and success metrics related to employee experience, system utilization, and operational efficiency, adjusting strategy as needed.

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in leading technology initiatives, preferably HR Technology solutions. 5+ years Product Management, with a focus on enterprise scale technology solutions. 5+ years’ leadership experience in a management role, overseeing technology product teams and system analysts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field. OR 4 combined years of progressive equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Master’s degree preferred.
