VP, Detection Intelligence & Content Engineering

About the role

This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background to drive innovation and efficiency within the Financial Services industry. The VP, DICE will lead and oversee technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology strategies to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure technology systems and infrastructure are secure, scalable, and efficient.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs and challenges.
• Oversee budget planning and management for technology projects and operations.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performing technology team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in all technology initiatives.

Requirements

• Financial Services background.
• 7+ years' experience in security operations and/or incident response type roles including 2+ years in leadership or team lead role.
• Proven track record with SIEM technologies including Splunk with accompanying certifications preferred (e.g., Splunk Certified Cybersecurity Defence Analyst).
• Knowledge of incident handling life cycle based on an established framework: ISO 27035, SANS, NIST SP 800-61, CERT, ENISA.

Qualifications

• Security certifications such as CISSP and at least one GIAC GCIH, GSEC, GCFA, GCIA, GREM, or GCFR (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Python, Golang, and experience with workflow automation using Anthropic, Claude, etc. is a plus.

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 USD annually.
