About the role

This leader will have oversight for all matters related to overall medical group performance, including operational, clinical, financial metrics, growth, and services. Responsibilities include strategic development and execution of ambulatory care, as well as driving the strategy, growth, and alignment of internal and external physician relationships within and across the medical group and health system.

This role involves collaborating with acute care leaders, service line executive directors, and executive medical directors to coordinate strategies and foster a culture supportive of physicians and their professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Ten (10) years of senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with specific experience in managing ambulatory services, service lines, integrated delivery systems (IDS), and physician practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead a high-performing team and recruit and motivate talent.
  • Extensive experience in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional customer service with a strong track record in improving quality, patient, associate, and physician engagement.
  • American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) certification or Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM) certification.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, practice management software, Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
