Compensation for this position is based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform functions necessary to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers within scope of authority and expertise.
- Develop and implement an annual market sales strategy and plan to achieve goals, including new sales, cross-sell, and retention targets.
- Develop and implement a profitable Cash Management deposits and fee income portfolio for the assigned market.
- Prepare sales presentations, including pro-forma, pitchbooks, and PowerPoint decks, and recommend value-added services to customer relationships.
- Manage a portfolio of Cash Management customers with extensive and complex needs due to relationship size, business nature, or deposit volume.
- Provide high-quality client service, including implementation and training of online products.
- Ensure company personnel (Commercial and Retail) are aware of Cash Management sales activities and promote the company’s objectives.
- Maintain and develop a network of professional contacts and Centers of Influence to expand financial services relationships.
- Represent the organization at external functions and events.
- Adhere to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with regulatory and bank policy requirements.
- Protect the confidentiality of non-public customer information (NPCI) and the security of information technology resources.
- Follow the Bank’s Acceptable Use Policy, participate in security awareness training, and pass social engineering testing to maintain cybersecurity best practices.
Community Development Responsibilities
- Participate in community development services within the Bank’s assessment area, focusing on affordable housing, community services for low- to moderate-income individuals, and revitalization or stabilization of targeted neighborhoods.
- Engage in activities such as:
- Offering accounting skills to local charitable organizations serving low- to moderate-income individuals.
- Performing bookkeeping services for low- to moderate-income seniors.
- Teaching financial literacy programs for low- to moderate-income school children.
- Fundraising for agencies targeting low- or moderate-income individuals.
- Participating in activities that revitalize or stabilize low- or moderate-income areas.
- Encourage CRA-qualified volunteerism.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience required.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professionalism and presence, with the ability to work with all levels of senior management.
- Ability to lead and influence multiple audiences, both within and outside the organization.
- Superior relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
- Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills for effective interaction with clients.
- Ability to utilize resources creatively to meet client needs and successfully sell products and services.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and self-motivation.
