About the role
Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with organizations relevant to UNFCU's Field of Membership (FOM) expansion program. This position is hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop the business case for field of membership expansion in accordance with Corporate Strategy.
- Identify and onboard new organizations in alignment with growth strategies.
- Analyze market trends, target entity demographics and competitive position in the local market to support growth initiatives.
- Serve as a brand ambassador to represent and enhance the brand's reputation, fulfill its promise to deliver peace of mind with each partnership and clearly communicate UNFCU's value proposition.
- Build and foster relationships with target organization officials to gain approval and support for promotion of UNFCU products, services, and benefits.
- Lead outreach execution for global strategies to increase UNFCU membership, within the approved FOM expansion strategy.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive awareness and engagement across UNFCU to support the successful onboarding and operationalization of new entities joining our FOM.
- Define and track clear metrics to measure the success and impact of our FOM outreach.
- Collaborate with global member service teams to deliver presentations and support member engagement initiatives.
- Manage budgets and maintain knowledge of UNFCU products, partnerships, policies, procedures, and relevant United Nations affairs while supporting additional business needs as required.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business development or related field.
- 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in a high-level business development or marketing role, including management experience.
- Experience working with the United Nations, Non-governmental organizations, or similar organizations preferred.
Pay
NYC Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.
