VP, Asset Management

About the Role

SitusAMC is seeking a leader to manage a client’s portfolio after acquisition, serving as the primary point of contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, servicing transfer, and asset strategy. The role oversees multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic initiatives across all asset classes, coordinating with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset‑level strategies and curative efforts post‑settlement. The Lead is responsible for developing portfolio campaign strategies, customized reporting, project management, and ensuring overall quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility into the status of every deal by ensuring appropriate reviews are performed in the system.
• Use Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) to understand and reconcile data.
• Raise potential issues (performance, timeline, etc.) to management (VP, SVP, etc.).
• Verify that critical exceptions are correctly applied where appropriate.
• Identify performance trends and potential enhancements for servicer processes or internal systems (servicing workflow, QC workflow, exceptions, etc.).
• Coordinate servicing transfer, operational review, remittance and data reconciliation, workout decisions, and address servicing performance irregularities.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, review loan documentation and reporting, and assess compliance with GSE and regulatory guidelines.
• Develop portfolio campaign strategies, customized reporting, and manage projects for client objectives.
• Lead regular client collaboration, servicer engagement, and reporting of portfolio performance alongside other Asset Managers.
• Perform other activities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of industry or relevant experience, including at least 2 years in an AVP‑level role or equivalent external experience.
• Mortgage/secondary market experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Commercial real estate asset management experience required.
• Strong Excel skills; ability to multitask and work well with staff and clients.
• Team‑oriented, detail‑oriented, and organized with strong communication (written and oral) skills.
• Strong analytical ability, good judgment, strategic and multidimensional thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and overall PC skills.
• Professional behavior, punctuality, dependability, and teamwork.

Pay

Annual full‑time base salary range: $115,000.00 – $155,000.00. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, training, skills, geographic location, and market data.
