About the role

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Voucher Examiner to join a team that will be reviewing, validating, and processing financial vouchers as well as supporting documentation attached to federal programs. This is a 100% on-site position located in Ashburn, Virginia working 4 days a week. The position directly supports financial operations and compliance across federal programs. The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a structured, compliance‑driven atmosphere and who can understand financial documentation, federal regulations, and is able to work in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Examine vouchers, invoices, requests for reimbursement to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Data entry into financial systems and certifying audit‑ready logs for reporting and status tracking
• Provide excellent customer service and communication to stakeholders regarding requirements and voucher status
• Verification of costs, labor changes, data, and other claims against terms of the contract and regulations
• Ensure all submissions meet the requirements and standards of the provided policy and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience with federal financial management including invoice processing, rate validation, or other similar roles
• Proficiency with financial systems including Delphi, PRISM, and FMIS
• Strong attention to detail while managing high‑volume, deadline‑driven workflows
• Intermediate level Excel skills (pivot tables, data validation, and lookups)
• An understanding of grant management, cost‑reimbursable structures, or travel voucher rules
• Experience working within a SDVOSB or ISO certified environment

Pay

Salary: $65,000 – $70,000
