Voter Registration Fellows will assist the Florida Democratic Party in registering young voters statewide through direct community contact and organizer development trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Run voter registration operations, planning and executing canvassing and events to reach young people in your community.
  • Recruit volunteers by reaching out to prospects, making direct asks, and growing your team week over week.
  • Track and report results accurately and on time, maintaining careful records of voter registrations, student contacts, and event outcomes.
  • Flag when falling behind, propose solutions, and learn from what’s working and what isn’t.

  • Dedicated to building a strong Democratic Party and electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
  • Committed to fighting for a better future for Florida families and championing the Party’s values.
  • Passionate about youth organizing and voter registration.
  • Tenacious, hardworking, and able to pursue goals despite challenges.
  • Compelling communicator who can confidently engage peers, voters, or volunteers to motivate action.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder, per FEC regulations.

Schedule

  • 10 hours of direct community contact per week.
  • Opportunity to attend up to 5 hours of organizer development trainings.
  • Contracted position lasting through November 2026.

Pay

A one-time stipend of $1,800.
