Volunteer: Website UX Review and Homepage Wireframes Redesign
About the Opportunity
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Volunteers will review the Making a Difference Foundation website and propose a redesign of the public webpage.
A clearer, more accessible website will help Making a Difference Foundation better connect people to food, housing, encouragement, and opportunity, and make it easier for donors and volunteers to find ways to support clients. Volunteers will directly improve how the community accesses help.
Deliverables
- Prioritized design recommendations
- Low-fidelity wireframes
- One visual mockup of the main page
- Implementation notes document
Specific pages and scope will be discussed with volunteers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the organization to refine and implement recommendations
- Participate in regular check-ins
The organization will share goals and any available branding or content.

Making A Difference Foundation Mission: Founded by Ahndrea Blue in 2003, Making a Difference Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of others one person at a time. With the help of God, we assist our clients in acquiring the most basic human needs: food, housing, encouragement, and opportunity.
