Volunteer Transportation Pricing & Revenue Strategy Coordinator
About the role
The LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted families through transportation, therapy, and technology-driven programs. Its mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, the foundation operates nationally, with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia. Key initiatives include LoopConnect (ride credit sponsorship for prison visitation), LoopTalk (HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy), and LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership (collaboration with LoopTroop for safe, reliable, culturally competent transportation). The foundation uses community-based, technology-enabled tools to restore dignity, promote healing, and reduce generational harm, offering all programs without discrimination.
LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Transportation Pricing & Revenue Strategy Coordinator to help develop the pricing and revenue model for LoopRides, its expanding community transportation and rideshare platform. LoopRides will connect screened drivers using their own vehicles with individuals and organizations needing reliable transportation for essential purposes such as employment, medical appointments, housing services, shelter placement, court and probation requirements, workforce training, grocery access, and other critical needs. In addition to individual rider transportation, LoopRides will provide shelters, healthcare providers, nonprofits, workforce programs, housing organizations, and other community agencies with access to an administrative dashboard where they can request immediate rides, schedule future transportation, arrange recurring trips, and coordinate daily or weekly routes.
The role has the potential to transition into a paid position based on individual performance, program growth, organizational needs, and available funding; a paid transition is not guaranteed.
