Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Design and adjust school bus routes to prioritize student safety and time efficiency.
- Servicing Special Education Needs: Serve as a liaison for special education transportation needs, ensuring all students receive required accommodations.
- Resource Allocation: Assign drivers and vehicles to daily routes and extracurricular field trips, ensuring 100% schedule adherence.
- Community Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between parents, school administrators, and the transportation department to resolve inquiries and concerns.
- Operational Oversight: Open the dispatch office, manage daily driver attendance, and provide leadership in the absence of the Director.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle complaints, service interruptions, and accidents with professional composure and a focus on prompt resolution.
