Volunteer sewers/sewists

About the role

Our Volunteers sew pillowcases for children in hospitals and other paediatric facilities. This opportunity can be done from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Sew pillowcases from your own fabric (100% cotton) or from pre-cut kits provided by Comfy Cases.
• Create pillowcases measuring 20 x 30 inches with finished seams (French or serged).
• After washing, ironing and packaging pillowcases, deliver them to hospitals across Ontario, including SickKids.

We welcome anyone interested in this opportunity, regardless of whether they meet the following requirements. High school students are also encouraged to apply.

• Willingness to sew pillowcases for children in hospitals and other paediatric facilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and ensure high-quality work.
• Flexibility to work at a flexible schedule.
