Volunteer Services Coordinator
About the role

Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews and selects volunteers.
- Schedules interviews with agencies and completes follow-up.
- Serves as a liaison between volunteers and agency staff to promote acceptance of volunteers' role.
- Affairs with professional staff from departments or agencies to assign volunteers to specific areas.
- Promotes volunteerism through participation in community-wide events, contact with local media and membership in professional organizations.
- Develops and conducts orientation and training.
- Develops and implements recognition plans to promote the efforts of volunteers in public and private organizations.
- Maintains records and reports.
Requirements
- Six months experience in volunteer recruitment.
- Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Six months experience in narrative report writing.
- Knowledge of planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs.
Qualifications
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Pay
Yearly: $38,770.00/Min - $48,463.00/Mid - $58,156.00/Max
Schedule
Shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
