About the role

Outdoor Life Leadership empowers boys and young men from underserved communities through hands-on outdoor skills—from survival skills to leadership and disaster preparedness. Our programs help participants build confidence, resilience, and real-world opportunities. The Volunteer Recruiter Coordinator will play a pivotal role in building our team by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding passionate volunteers to sustain and expand our programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers for various roles within the organization.
• Reach out to community groups, universities, and online platforms to attract potential volunteers.
• Screen, interview, and onboard new volunteers, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
• Maintain a volunteer database and track engagement to support retention.
• Collaborate with department leads to understand volunteer needs and align recruitment efforts.
