Volunteer Recruiter and Onboarding Manager (State College PA)

Description

This position includes working directly with the charity executive director to continuously improve the ease and effectiveness for volunteer recruiting program:

• Develop and refine volunteer opportunities as new projects get started
• Set up volunteer opportunities in volunteer match and on the main website
• Preform initial sorting of applicants to ensure they meet the requirements for a position
• Put all contacts into the charity CRM and other charity systems as needed

Requirements

Due to the way software license agreements and costs are set up this position is considered a full time volunteer. This is defined as any volunteer who works at least 8 hours per week for at least 10 months out of the year or a total of 800 hours per year

Long-term opportunity

While this positon is strictly volunteer at this time Freeforcharity.org is currently seeking grant funding for a number of projects. All paid positions will be offered first to the volunteers who have the most hours and total time with the organization.
