We're opening 11 volunteer roles, from programming to partnerships, so you can help shape the week from the start, not just the final stretch. These are unpaid volunteer roles. No design degree required, just passion for the Indy design community! Past volunteers have been writers, social media managers, project managers, PR specialists, and small business owners. Open rolesMarketing & CommsContent Chair: write our newsletter and help shape how IDW sounds across channelsSocial Chair / Intern: support our Director of Social on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedInPhoto/Video Chair (up to 2): capture the people and moments that make IDW worth talking aboutProgrammingProgramming Chair / Intern: work beside the Programming Director and Chairs on logistics, speaker planning, and day-of coordinationEvent Logistics Chair: turn programming plans into a real week, from venue and vendors to run-of-showProgramming Chair (up to 6): own one full day of IDW programming (also available as a spring internship)DevelopmentCommunity Partnerships Chair: build the sponsor and community partner relationships that make IDW possibleDesignDesign Chair, Print & Collateral (up to 2): bring our brand to life in signage, programs, and printDesign Chair, Digital & Social (up to 3): create social graphics, campaign assets, and web visualsOperationsBoard & Chair Experience Chair: run onboarding and keep our leadership team supportedVolunteer Coordinator: recruit, schedule, and lead the event-week volunteer crew What happens next: Applications close October 26.
