What You'll Do Design front and back covers that reflect each book's concept and audienceTypeset interior pages (fonts, margins, headers, chapter breaks, etc.)Format manuscripts for both print and digital (e.g., EPUB, PDF) as neededEnsure consistent visual style across chapters and, where relevant, across a seriesIncorporate feedback from the editorial team on design directionPrepare final print-ready and digital files for publishing Who You Are Experience with design tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Canva, Affinity Publisher)Strong eye for typography, layout, and cover designFamiliar with print and/or ebook formatting requirementsAble to take creative direction while offering your own design ideasPortfolio of prior design work (books, covers, or similar) a plus What You'll Gain Design credit on published booksPortfolio pieces showing full-book design workExperience with both print and digital publishing formatsFlexible, remote volunteering
