Our key initiatives include LoopConnect A ride credit sponsorship platform that provides free or subsidized rides to prison visitation facilities, allowing families to stay in contact during incarceration.LoopTalk A HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy program offering trauma-informed mental health care to justice-impacted individuals and caregivers, including children.LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership We collaborate with the LoopTroop Rideshare platform to ensure families have access to safe, reliable, and culturally competent transportation services. All of our programs are offered without discrimination to build a truly supportive ecosystem for families across the U.S. , Volunteer Intake Team Lead Organization LoopRoots Foundation Location Remote (United States) Position Type Volunteer Time Commitment 15–25 hours per week (flexible schedule) Reports To Executive Director About LoopRoots Foundation LoopRoots Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, justice involvement, housing instability, and other life challenges. Through transportation assistance, survivor services, workforce development, housing support, and community partnerships, we connect individuals with the resources they need to move forward safely and successfully. As our organization continues to expand, we're building a dedicated Intake Department to ensure every person who reaches out receives a timely, compassionate, and professional response. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Volunteer Intake Team Lead to help build and oversee our Intake Department. This individual will supervise the intake workflow, coordinate the Intake Specialists, ensure timely follow-up on new inquiries, and help develop efficient processes as our programs continue to grow nationally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, operations, nonprofit administration, or client services and wants to make a meaningful impact while helping build an essential department from the ground up. Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the Intake Department.Monitor the shared Intake mailbox during scheduled volunteer hours.Assign new intake requests to Intake Specialists.Ensure inquiries receive timely responses.Review website intake submissions and email requests.Ensure client records are accurately entered and maintained within Zoho CRM.Track intake progress and follow-up activities.Escalate urgent situations to the appropriate leadership team member.Assist in developing intake procedures, templates, and workflows.Participate in leadership meetings and help onboard new intake volunteers.Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. Qualifications Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Comfortable learning cloud-based software, including Zoho CRM.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented communication style.Previous nonprofit, customer service, administrative, healthcare, or case management experience is a plus.
