Volunteer Human Trafficking Survivor Program Coordinator

About the role

LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting underserved, justice-impacted, and vulnerable individuals and families through various initiatives including transportation assistance, emergency support services, workforce development, reentry support, housing assistance, food access initiatives, and community stabilization programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with survivor intake coordination and resource navigation
• Help coordinate emergency transportation and relocation support
• Build relationships with shelters, advocacy organizations, and community partners
• Aid in program planning and operational development
• Maintain organized records and follow-up communications
• Support outreach and awareness initiatives
• Collaborate with the LoopRoots Foundation leadership team on program growth

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in advocacy, social services, nonprofit work, case management, or survivor support
• Understanding of trauma-informed care practices
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and compassionately
• Passion for community impact and social justice initiatives
• Experience working with underserved populations is a plus
