About the role

Friend Ships welcomes individuals from all backgrounds to join our team as long-term core crew or short-term volunteers, including daily help for those local to Lake Charles, Louisiana. Each role plays a vital part in demonstrating God’s love to those in need around the world.

We are currently accepting applications for both long-term and short-term volunteers across a variety of positions, including but not limited to:

• Engineers
• Electricians
• Electronic technicians
• Mechanics
• Pipefitters
• Housekeepers
• Office workers
• Ship’s mates

Volunteer Commitment

This is a fully volunteer-based opportunity with no financial compensation. Volunteers are responsible for their own expenses.

Locations

• Friend Ships – USA: Based at Port Mercy in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
• Friend Ships International – Israel: For those interested in Middle East missions.
• Volunteer Groups: Opportunities in the USA and internationally (Syria/Israel).
