About the role

The Volunteer Girl’s Assistant Volleyball Coach will support the high school volleyball program at Kempsville High School. The position is part-time and reports to the Principal or Designee (Student Activities Coordinator).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization and supervision of volleyball practices and games.
• Support the team’s coach in game strategy and player development.
• Attend all home and away volleyball games as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the volleyball program.

Requirements

• Experience coaching volleyball at the high school level.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student athletes.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
